Chemical Etching The pattern is chemically etched into the stainless steel surface through a cold-working process. This avoids heat deformation, produces smoother pattern edges and creates a tactile depth that can be felt on the metal.
Pattern Detail Chemical etching supports fine details, strong dimensional definition and large-area complex patterns. Unlike surface printing, the design is etched into the metal and will not peel or wear away with use.
Plated Finish A copper or copper-alloy layer is applied as the plating base, followed by the rose gold finish. A transparent protective coating can be added to improve surface durability and fingerprint resistance.
Chemical Etching vs. Laser Etching Chemical etching is better suited to large and complex decorative patterns because it processes the surface without heat. Laser processing is more efficient for simple logos but becomes less cost-effective for extensive detailed artwork.
Customization The existing etched pattern is available as a fixed design, while customer-supplied artwork can also be developed. Color, etched pattern, logo and packaging can be customized for the project.·
