Stainless Steel Tips

316 and 316L stainless steel
316 and 317 stainless steel (see below the performance of 317 stainless steel) is a stainless steel containing molybdenum. The molybdenum content of 317 stainless steel is slightly higher than that of 316 stainless steel. Because of molybdenum in steel, the total performance of the steel is better than that of 310 and 304 stainless steel. When the concentration of sulfuric acid is below 15% and 85%, the 316 stainless steel has wide application. 316 stainless steel also has good properties of chloride erosion, so it is usually used in the marine environment.

The maximum carbon content of 316L stainless steel is 0.03, which can not be used for annealing and the use of maximum corrosion resistance after welding. E-BON the most excellent stainless steel company, which provide you with oem hand crank coffee mill.

The corrosion resistance
Corrosion resistance is superior to 304 stainless steel, and has good corrosion resistance in the process of pulp and paper making. And 316 stainless steel is also resistant to the erosion of the marine and erosive industrial atmosphere.
Heat resistance
In discontinuous use below 1600 degrees and continuous use below 1700 degrees, 316 stainless steel has good oxidation resistance. In the range of 800-1575 degrees, it is best not to act on 316 stainless steel continuously, but when the 316 stainless steel is used outside the temperature range, the stainless steel has good heat resistance. The carbides of 316L stainless steel are better than the 316 stainless steel, which can be used as the temperature range above.

Heat treatment
It is annealed at 1850-2050 degrees of temperature, then quickly annealed, and then cooled quickly. 316 stainless steel can not be hardened by overheating treatment. E-BON the stainless steel specialist, China Kitchenware Supplier.

Welding
316 stainless steel has good welding performance. All standard welding methods can be used for welding. In welding, 316Cb, 316L or 309Cb stainless steel packing rod or welding rod can be used in welding. In order to obtain the best corrosion resistance, the welding section of 316 stainless steel needs to be annealed after welding. If 316L stainless steel is used, there is no need for post weld annealing treatment.

Typical use
Heat exchanger of pulp and papermaking equipment, dyeing equipment, film flushing equipment, pipelines, and external materials used in coastal area buildings.
