How To Make A Martini Cocktail
Clear,icy and uniquely stimulating,martinis captivate drinkers and tasters alike. There are different opinions on the origin of martinis.Some say it evolved from the late 1880s, when customers would order martinis at the eponymous San Francisco hotel before taking the ferry to San Francisco. Another story suggests that the martini was likely named after an Italian brand of absinthe.
Back then, ingredients like "gin and martini" were mixed together to make a popular alcoholic drink that changed over time in proportions but the name stayed.
Materials:
Ice cubes, 1 ounce gin, 1/4 ounce absinthe,lemon zest
How to do:
1. Add ice cubes to a cocktail shaker.
2. Slowly pour the gin and absinthe over the ice and let it soak in until the outside of the shaker is frosted.
3. Strain the liquid into a martini glass.
4. String a little lemon zest on a cocktail stick for garnish.
