To quickly chill your wine and keep it at an ideal temperature of around 40 degrees Fahrenheit, you should chill your wine in an stainless steel ice bucket.
.Fill the bottom of the ice bucket with crushed ice. There should be about an inch-high layer of ice on the bottom.
.Place the bottle of wine in the bucket.
.Situate the bottle in the center of the bucket and scoop shaved ice along its sides. Fill up the area around the bottle to the top of the bottle's label. Don't pack the ice too tightly around the bottle as you will want to be able to remove the bottle for serving.
.Let the wine chill in the ice bucket for 20 to 30 minutes.
.Remove the wine from the ice bucket, open and serve.
